[ABOUT]
I’m Elizabeth Austin-davis, a proud Tuskegee alumna (Class of 2010) and a storyteller at heart. Through my work as a photographer, I’ve been fortunate to document life’s most beautiful moments, earning recognition as one of the best photographers in the world by Harpers Bazaar. But no matter where my career has taken me, I’ve always returned home to Tuskegee for homecoming. Since 2018, I’ve photographed the energy, joy, and spirit of our homecoming, realizing along the way that I was preserving something extraordinary. Skegee Taught Me is my love letter to our unique experience. a coffee table book that archives and celebrates the legacy of Tuskegee homecoming. Through this project, I aim to honor our stories, traditions, and memories, ensuring they live on for generations to come.
